Searching for something deeper, you stumble on images that shed light on you revealing that everything is feasible in this ‘purity’. You exist in this divine Creation! A LITTLE SLICE OF AN AMBIANCE OF LIVING HISTORY, MEMORY AND ORIGIN..
Faces marked by sun and salt, hands hardened by nets and the relentless toil of daily labour. Their endurance, values, and courage raise an invisible beacon of honour, illuminating both sea and tradition. Their measure is found in the patience, persistence, and love they offer to the waters — a sea that for them is both homeland and destiny. They remain vigilant guardians, knowing every wave and every wind, and offer to the sea their respect and their very soul. For the Lesbian fishermen and fisherwomen of the north-eastern Aegean-, this sea is not just an expanse of water. It is their second home, their identity, their living history, their source of life, a field of freedom and, at times, of trial. For them, the Aegean carries memory and origin. They defend it not with words but with the dignity of their presence: by going out each day, keeping seamanship alive, protecting fish and shores from overfishing, neglect, tensions, provocations as a result of the odd expansionist ambitions that converge with modern demands for energy, and maritime resources. At this point, friction is eminent and political tensions threaten to escalate into crises. The gracious, calm, inestimable presence of these people plays an important role as it contributes decisively to the effort made for Peace to take root, and for the coexistence of two cultures to blossom.

‘NAVIGATING’ IN THE OTHERWORDLY FOREST OF SILENCE..
A realm filled with findings bear witness to a “cosmogony” that marked the geological history of the basin of the Aegean Sea over 20 million years ago, Here time has ceased, and silence carries a sacred weight. Shadows slip among the fossils, and the wind seems to whisper the Earth’s secrets.
At the in western edge of Lesvos Island, near Sigri, the Petrified Forest, carved by volcanic eruptions and the patience of time, is not merely a geological treasure; it is an irreplaceable chronicle written in stone. It’s the paramount proof of the almighty magnificence of Nature. Every crack, every crystalline fiber etched upon fossilized tree trunks, roots, and leaves speaking of fire, of eruptions, of the earth’s power..
Its rarity and uniqueness resound with echo, a plangent call of awakening, imbued with a sonorous wave of empathy, that ‘compels’ you not merely to see it, but to feel it, to hearken it_ to comprehend _to become part of its eternal story..
